TFK TransForm Kitchens are completely dedicated to providing the
highest levels of customer satisfaction. All of our furniture is
rigid built and made to order. We will process your order as quickly
and efficiently as possible and delivery is usually within 4-5
weeks, direct from ourselves.
We aim to provide high levels of customer satisfaction and will
provide service consistent with best practice. In the unlikely event
of a complaint you should send it in writing or by email to us,
addressed to the Installation Manager.
General Terms & Conditions

The ‘Seller’ is TFK TransForm Kitchens to whom all payments become
due for goods and services provided.

The ‘Purchaser’ is the
individual, firm or limited company from whom an order has been
accepted and who becomes responsible for payment for all goods and
services provided.

The contract is established when the Seller
accepts the order from the Purchaser.

The price is to be paid as
specified in the quotation and a part payment is to be made by the
Purchaser and accepted by the Seller on placement of the order. See
our Payment Terms for details.

Any items that are made to order
may be subject to a charge if cancelled by the Purchaser. See ‘Your
rights to cancel’ for details.

In the event of non payment being
made by the Purchaser at the due date, the Seller reserves the right
to withhold delivery until payment can be made and has the right to
charge 2% per month on any monies due, calculated on a daily basis.
The Seller also has the right to charge an additional delivery cost
where necessary, all of which the Purchaser agrees to pay.

The
goods shall be at the risk of the Purchaser following delivery.
Notwithstanding delivery, title in the goods shall not pass to the
Purchaser until the Purchaser has made payment of all sums owing to
the Seller. Until such time as title in the goods passes to the
Purchaser, the Seller shall have the right to repossess or otherwise
recover the goods.

The Seller shall not be liable for any default
due to circumstance beyond reasonable control of the Seller
including, but not limited to, Acts of God, war, fire, flood and
shortage of supply or failure to deliver of our suppliers.

All
orders and any dispute arising there from shall be governed by
English law and subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the
English courts.

Nothing in these conditions shall affect the
statutory rights of a consumer.
Payment Terms
Kitchen Supply & Installation:
A 10% deposit is required to secure order, with the balance payable
upon completion and customer inspection.
Bespoke Worktop Supply & Installation:
A 10% deposit is required to secure order, with the balance payable
before delivery (allow 7 days if paying by cheque to allow funds
clearance).
Supply Only: A 10% deposit
is required to secure order, with the balance payable before
delivery (allow 7 days if paying by cheque to allow funds
clearance). Installation Only: Full balance payable upon completion
and inspection. Payment
can be made by major debit & credit cards (2% surcharge on credit
card transactions), cash (up to a limit of £9000), postal order,
cheque (payable to TFK TRANSFORM KITCHENS) or via electronic
banking. Our bank details can be found on the terms and conditions
attached to all quotations and sales orders.
Your rights to cancel
You may cancel your order (in writing) at any
point up to 7 days after placing the order. However, as an act of
goodwill, TFK operates a ‘cooling off’ period of 14 days. During
this time you may cancel your order and your full deposit will be
refunded. Many of our
products are custom manufactured on receipt of your order (such as
made-to-measure worktops). These items cannot normally be cancelled
once work has begun and you may be liable for the full cost of the
product once your order has been placed. Returns
Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling)
Regulations 2000 you may return your goods at any point up to 7 days
after receiving delivery and we will give you a full refund less
costs associated with the return. Please note however, products that
are custom manufactured cannot normally be returned.
Warranties
All our
products are covered by the manufacturers warranty which is detailed
with the product and is a minimum of 12 months. Our furniture is
under manufacturers warranty for 10 years. This does not affect your
statutory rights as a consumer. Faulty Goods
Should you notice a fault with your goods, please
notify us immediately via email or in writing. In the case of
bespoke worktops, we ask all customers to inspect their worktops
once they have been installed and only sign the acceptance form if
satisfied. We cannot be held liable for any damage once the
acceptance form has been signed.
