Drainer grooves are
especially designed for undermount sinks or
inset sinks that don't have a drainer. The
number and spacing of grooves is dependent
upon the location of the drainer. On
average, 5-groove is the standard. Angled
grooves work especially well where half-bowl
undermount sinks are utilised.
A recessed drainer
involves recessing the worktop by 3mm in
order to stop any excess water from leaving
the draining area.
NOTE: Drainer grooves/recessed
drainers may
have a slightly duller appearance than the
worksurface. Recessed drainers may be patchy
due to the toughness of the quartz.
